PLEASE NOTE: This accommodation IS NOT completed and guaranteed until we have received the required information, scheduled and conducted a successful Meet & Greet, and approved the stay. Time is of the essence as we will not be able to schedule your pet’s Meet & Greet until after we have received and confirmed the First Time Pet Guest Form, and his/her vaccinations records.

FIRST TIME PET GUEST SECTION – *PLEASE READ VERY CAREFULLY:

THE FIRST TIME PET GUEST REQUIRED STEPS ARE OUTLINED BELOW. YOUR PET’S BOOKING IS NOT COMPLETE AND CANNOT BE APPROVED UNTIL THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS HAVE BEEN MET:

  1. Received and Approved First Time Pet Guest Questionnaire
  2. Received and Approved Vaccination Records
  3. Scheduled, Completed, and Approved the Required Meet & Greet*

*These steps are a no-exception policy for all First Time Pet Guests to come to Sumter Pet Sitters. Time is of the essence as we cannot approve and guarantee accommodations until the required steps are completed and approved. Requests made on short-notice may not be approved, as some first-time pets may be required to attend a few short stays prior to an extended overnight boarding at Sumter Pet Sitters.

Pet socialization is very important and new (never before boarded) pet-guests often need to come for at least a few Doggie Day Care Play Days so that they will not feel abandoned during their first ever boarding experience.  It is our mission to always provide the absolute best experience for our pet guests.


FIRST TIME PET PARENTS: VERY IMPORTANT MESSAGE FOR ALL FIRST TIME PET-GUESTS: IF THIS WILL BE YOUR PET’S FIRST TIME COMING TO SUMTER PET SITTERS, 3 LAST STEPS ARE REQUIRED TO COMPLETE YOUR PET’S BOOKING REQUEST AND TO SECURE THE ACCOMMODATION – TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE SO PLEASE SEND US THE REQUIRED INFORMATION RIGHT AWAY SO THAT WE CAN PROCEED WITH THE STEPS REQUIRED TO MEET AND POSSIBLY CARE FOR YOUR PET(S)*.

*WE WILL NOT CONTACT YOU TO SCHEDULE YOUR PET’S MEET & GREET UNTIL AFTER YOU HAVE COMPLETED STEPS 1 AND 2 BELOW. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO COMPLETE THE REQUIRED STEPS BELOW AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. TIME IS OF THE ESSENCE AND REQUESTS MADE ON SHORT NOTICE CANNOT BE HONORED AS WE MUST HAVE ADEQUATE TIME TO SCHEDULE AND CONDUCT YOUR PET’S MEET AND GREET.

Step 1. Vaccinations must be verified (Please submit vaccination records using 1 of 3 easy methods below)

Step 2. Contact/Basic Information Form for First Time Pet Guests must be completed prior to scheduling a Meet & Greet (The M&G will be scheduled as soon as reasonably possible after receiving and approving the Contact/Basic Information Form for First Time Pet Guests, and your pet’s vaccination records) *Note: This is required for all first-time pet guests. This is not required if we have cared for your pet before.

Step 3. Satisfactory Meet & Greet completed prior to stay (The M&G will be scheduled as soon as reasonably possible after steps 1 and 2 have been completed) *Note: This is required for all first-time pet guests. This is not required if we have cared for your pet before.

HOW TO PROVIDE YOUR PET’S VACCINATION RECORDS – *PLEASE READ VERY CAREFULLY:

There are 2 easy options provided below, to send us your pet’s vaccination records. Please choose the method below that is easiest for you:

  • 1.) Send them to us via email at: [email protected] (Most Veterinarians are happy to send your pet’s records to us on your behalf and this is usually the fastest and easiest method – Ask them to send the records to us at: [email protected] – *This is the preferred method and will likely avoid delays.)
  • 2.) Text us a copy of your pet’s current vaccination record to: (803) 600-2149. (*Cropped, partial, handwritten, or altered vaccination records cannot be accepted.)

VERY IMPORTANT NOTE FOR FIRST TIME PET GUESTS: Please be aware that until we have proof of current vaccinations, the completed and approved First Time Pet Guest Questionnaire, have scheduled and conducted their Meet & Greet, and we have approved and finalized your pet’s stay, the spot for the dates you have chosen are not guaranteed. Accommodations are secured in the order in which we have received the required information and approved the request to properly complete the booking. Once we have received and confirmed the required information, we will complete the booking of your pet’s stay. You will receive confirmation from us directly once the stay is approved and completed via email (Please be sure to check your SPAM/JUNK folders especially if you utilize a free email service such as *gmail, *ymail, *yahoo, *hotmail/outlook, etc.)
